The REDEFINE Research is now public!

In 2023, the REDEFINE Study employed an online survey to examine the perspectives of obstetrical and sexual health practitioners and service-users on the use of gender-inclusive language in Sexual and Reproductive health care. The survey was administered across all Canadian provinces and territories and was available in English and French.

Participants were drawn from two primary groups:

  1. Reproductive and sexual health care providers; and

  2. 2 Spirit, transgender, and nonbinary (2STGNB) individuals and cisgender women who had lived experiences of accessing Canadian reproductive and/or sexual health care.
