Join Our Queer Digital Storytelling Retreat!

Explore what gender-affirming language means in midwifery care: share your story, connect, and create change!

Queer Digital Stories is a 3-day, all-expenses-paid workshop

Eligibility: 

  • You are 18 years of age or older 

  • Reside in Ontario 

  • Identify as trans, nonbinary, genderqueer, or another gender-diverse identity 

  • Have used midwifery services in Ontario in the past 5 years

  • Connect in a collaborative, supportive and affirming atmosphere

  • Make a short 3- to 5-minute video with StoryCentre Canada about what gender-affirming language means to you

  • Contribute to educating midwives and healthcare providers in Ontario and beyond!

  • We cover food, lodging, childcare, travel + you get $480 if you complete all sessions including pre- and post-workshop online sessions

  • Your stories and perspectives matter and will contribute to educating midwives and healthcare providers in Ontario and beyond!
